Harbrinder claimed that he had sown wheat crop on 38 acres by using his machine, which he invented four years ago. &amp;ldquo;Earlier I used this machine as a trial in a small area and brought some modifications. But now I am satisfied with the yield of the last year&amp;rsquo;s wheat crop on four acres, thus this year brought 38 acres under wheat cultivation by this machine. It needs just an ordinary tractor and consumes about 2-litre diesel on an acre.&amp;rdquo;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He said, &amp;ldquo;This is just like a combination of mulcher and fertiliser broadcaster. I have brought some changes in it by adding some blades. It did not cost much. Further, it is easy to use. Just after the harvesting of paddy with a combine harvester and that too without SMS equipment, I irrigated my fields and broadcasted seeds with fertiliser. I used this machine that cuts stubble into almost equal pieces and made layers of same level in the field. It helped in early germination of seeds. The officials of the Agriculture Department visited my fields and appreciated it.&amp;rdquo; &lt;br /&gt;

Even officials of the Agriculture Department visited and inspected his fields and were satisfied with his creation.<br /><br />Harbrinder claimed that he had sown wheat crop on 38 acres by using his machine, which he invented four years ago. &ldquo;Earlier I used this machine as a trial in a small area and brought some modifications. But now I am satisfied with the yield of the last year&rsquo;s wheat crop on four acres, thus this year brought 38 acres under wheat cultivation by this machine. It needs just an ordinary tractor and consumes about 2-litre diesel on an acre.&rdquo;<br /><br />He said, &ldquo;This is just like a combination of mulcher and fertiliser broadcaster. I have brought some changes in it by adding some blades. It did not cost much. Further, it is easy to use. I used this machine that cuts stubble into almost equal pieces and made layers of same level in the field. It helped in early germination of seeds. Even officials of the Agriculture Department visited and inspected his fields and were satisfied with his creation.<br /><br />Harbrinder claimed that he had sown wheat crop on 38 acres by using his machine, which he invented four years ago. &ldquo;Earlier I used this machine as a trial in a small area and brought some modifications. But now I am satisfied with the yield of the last year&rsquo;s wheat crop on four acres, thus this year brought 38 acres under wheat cultivation by this machine. It needs just an ordinary tractor and consumes about 2-litre diesel on an acre.&rdquo;<br /><br />He said, &ldquo;This is just like a combination of mulcher and fertiliser broadcaster. I have brought some changes in it by adding some blades. It did not cost much. Further, it is easy to use. I used this machine that cuts stubble into almost equal pieces and made layers of same level in the field. It helped in early germination of seeds. $disp = '<div align="justify">-The Tribune<br /><em><br />Muktsar:</em> Harbrinder Singh Gill, a farmer from Tarmala village of the Malout subdivision here, claims to have found an indigenous way to tackle stubble burning and sowing wheat using a pocket-friendly machine. Even officials of the Agriculture Department visited and inspected his fields and were satisfied with his creation.<br /><br />Harbrinder claimed that he had sown wheat crop on 38 acres by using his machine, which he invented four years ago. &ldquo;Earlier I used this machine as a trial in a small area and brought some modifications. But now I am satisfied with the yield of the last year&rsquo;s wheat crop on four acres, thus this year brought 38 acres under wheat cultivation by this machine. It needs just an ordinary tractor and consumes about 2-litre diesel on an acre.&rdquo;<br /><br />He said, &ldquo;This is just like a combination of mulcher and fertiliser broadcaster. I have brought some changes in it by adding some blades. It did not cost much. Further, it is easy to use. Just after the harvesting of paddy with a combine harvester and that too without SMS equipment, I irrigated my fields and broadcasted seeds with fertiliser. I used this machine that cuts stubble into almost equal pieces and made layers of same level in the field. It helped in early germination of seeds. The officials of the Agriculture Department visited my fields and appreciated it.&rdquo; <br /><br />However, he said he never wanted to become famous through his machine. &ldquo;I am satisfied that farmers from Haryana are coming to see the machine and liking it. The stubble becomes invisible as it gets mixed with soil after almost a month,&rdquo; he said.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Sukhchain Singh, Agriculture Development Officer, Lambi block, said, &ldquo;I have visited his fields and I am satisfied with the functioning of the machine. He has broadcasted wheat seeds and chopped stubble using this machine, which has made equal stack in the field.
