Deshmukh&rsquo;s pet, a German Shepherd dog, kept barking at the policemen.</div><div style="text-align: justify">Deshmukh&rsquo;s well-furnished house&mdash;plush sofas, beds, carpets, air conditioners and LCD television sets&mdash;told of the luxurious life he was leading.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">On learning about the team&rsquo;s arrival, his wife tried to pass on jewellery and other documents to her neighbour from the backdoor, the police said.
