Green manure loosened the soil, increased its water-retention capacity and ensured aeration for the crop. All these factors facilitated the farmers to minimise the use of chemical fertilizers.<br />

Green manure loosened the soil, increased its water-retention capacity and ensured aeration for the crop. All these factors facilitated the farmers to minimise the use of chemical fertilizers.<br />
