Accordingly, this publication focuses on social sectors, such as health, education, water and sanitation and food security, and some of the economic sectors, such as agriculture and rural development. It also discusses the implications of the Union Budget for disadvantaged sections of the population, such as women, children, dalits, adivasis, religious minorities and persons with disabilities.
