While speaking about the absence of the of employees from their seats, the minister has directed the district administration to introduce biometric data system immediately in Gondia. Major instances of corruption were brought to his notice during the press conference. Regarding allegations of bogus tanks being approved for subsidiaries, the minister has directed the Chief Officer of ZP Gondia Abhishekh Krishna to look into the matter personally and report to him.&lt;br /&gt;

The issue of corruption in transportation of paddy also dominated the meet. Tribal development officer of Deori, NZ Yedme had allegedly given an advance of Rs 1 crore during last Kharip season for transportation of paddy from various procurement centres to the rice mills without any tender or bank guarantee. Yedme informed the press meet that since the paddy worth crores of rupees was being spoilt due to unseasonal rains, he had to take the decision in the interest of the nation. But neither the minister nor the media were satisfied by his reply.&lt;br /&gt;

The case of misappropriation of food grain was also raised during the meet. In 2003, there was misappropriation of food grain worth Rs 43 lakh in the government godown of Ramnagar, Gondia, in which two employees were suspended. Out of them, one had died. An inquiry was reportedly going on against a food inspector and two former tehsildars for the past few years, without any conclusion. In this case also, the guardian minister has directed district supply officer Ashok Jadhao to submit his report to him before his next meeting in January 2011.&lt;br /&gt;

While speaking about the absence of the of employees from their seats, the minister has directed the district administration to introduce biometric data system immediately in Gondia. Major instances of corruption were brought to his notice during the press conference. Regarding allegations of bogus tanks being approved for subsidiaries, the minister has directed the Chief Officer of ZP Gondia Abhishekh Krishna to look into the matter personally and report to him.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The issue of corruption in transportation of paddy also dominated the meet. Tribal development officer of Deori, NZ Yedme had allegedly given an advance of Rs 1 crore during last Kharip season for transportation of paddy from various procurement centres to the rice mills without any tender or bank guarantee. Yedme informed the press meet that since the paddy worth crores of rupees was being spoilt due to unseasonal rains, he had to take the decision in the interest of the nation. But neither the minister nor the media were satisfied by his reply.&lt;br /&gt;

The case of misappropriation of food grain was also raised during the meet. In 2003, there was misappropriation of food grain worth Rs 43 lakh in the government godown of Ramnagar, Gondia, in which two employees were suspended. Out of them, one had died. An inquiry was reportedly going on against a food inspector and two former tehsildars for the past few years, without any conclusion. In this case also, the guardian minister has directed district supply officer Ashok Jadhao to submit his report to him before his next meeting in January 2011.&lt;br /&gt;

While speaking about the absence of the of employees from their seats, the minister has directed the district administration to introduce biometric data system immediately in Gondia. Major instances of corruption were brought to his notice during the press conference. Regarding allegations of bogus tanks being approved for subsidiaries, the minister has directed the Chief Officer of ZP Gondia Abhishekh Krishna to look into the matter personally and report to him.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The issue of corruption in transportation of paddy also dominated the meet. Tribal development officer of Deori, NZ Yedme had allegedly given an advance of Rs 1 crore during last Kharip season for transportation of paddy from various procurement centres to the rice mills without any tender or bank guarantee. Yedme informed the press meet that since the paddy worth crores of rupees was being spoilt due to unseasonal rains, he had to take the decision in the interest of the nation. But neither the minister nor the media were satisfied by his reply.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The case of misappropriation of food grain was also raised during the meet. In 2003, there was misappropriation of food grain worth Rs 43 lakh in the government godown of Ramnagar, Gondia, in which two employees were suspended. Out of them, one had died. An inquiry was reportedly going on against a food inspector and two former tehsildars for the past few years, without any conclusion. In this case also, the guardian minister has directed district supply officer Ashok Jadhao to submit his report to him before his next meeting in January 2011.&lt;br /&gt;

Yedme informed the press meet that since the paddy worth crores of rupees was being spoilt due to unseasonal rains, he had to take the decision in the interest of the nation. But neither the minister nor the media were satisfied by his reply.<br />
