The agitation would also take up the cause of those in the unorganised sector, enforcement of the Minimum Wages Act, removal of ceiling on bonus and pension and seek assured pension to all classes of employees.

Sanjeeva Reddy, president of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), affiliated to the Congress, told journalists here on Tuesday that despite various demonstrations by the labour unions, including &ldquo;fill the jail&rdquo; programme on November 8, the government still remained unresponsive to the major problems of the working class.<br />
<br />
&ldquo;The Dr. Manmohan Singh government is tilting towards the employers which is causing a big harm to the workers.&rdquo;<br />
<br />
All India Trade Union Congress general secretary Gurudas Dasgupta said the unions, which would organise the protest a day prior to the presentation of the 2012-13 budget in Parliament, also seek a check on the soaring prices of the essential commodities, measures to protect employment and strict enforcement of the labour laws.<br />
<br />
The agitation would also take up the cause of those in the unorganised sector, enforcement of the Minimum Wages Act, removal of ceiling on bonus and pension and seek assured pension to all classes of employees.
