Chhattisgarh CM approves Rs 500 crore for repair and maintenance of school buildings

-IndiaToday.in

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has approved Rs 500 crore for the repair and maintenance of school buildings. The chief secretary has been given instructions to carry out the implementation of the same.

The instructions state: "To ensure smooth education in all the schools, the work of repairing the schools should be started immediately as soon as the rainy season ends."

COMPLAINTS ABOUT STATE OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS

The chief minister had received information about the condition of the school buildings from the villagers, public representatives and media representatives during the visit-meeting campaign.

Due to lack of provision of sufficient funds for the repair of school buildings, obstacles were being created in the studies of the students for a long time.
