&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;ldquo;These posters depict the mechanisms to deal with the situations of abuse or potential abuse. As we have used colours, easy language and pictures, children will be able to understand the issue easily. A number of schools said they were getting good response from students,&amp;rdquo; said a senior Delhi government official. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
According to the official, the posters would help teachers easily broach the sensitive issue with children.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;ldquo;Instead of an ad hoc approach towards creating awareness through just advertisements, we wanted to have a more long-term and sustainable intervention. Through these posters teachers will be able to discuss these issues easily with children,&amp;rdquo; said a senior Delhi government official.&lt;br /&gt;

According to a report in 2007, over 85% of the offenders were known to the children and among the abused children, only 25% had told anyone.&lt;br /&gt;

For instance, the module for 5 to 8-year-olds describes positive and harmful practices, defines sexual abuse, stresses on personal safety and good touch/bad touch.&lt;br /&gt;
