The progress on revival and restoration has also been woefully slow and in these past years, several water bodies, including those mentioned in the 2006 records, have been encroached upon or even allotted by the various land owning agencies for development work.</p><p align="justify">&quot;The court appointed committee has been making regular visits to water bodies but are meeting stiff resistance from the land owning agency who refuse to co-operate.
