Groups of people have come to perform the last rites of their loved ones.</p><p align="justify">The mood is sombre. But the exercise, one will observe, is rather mechanical. Each family seems to know under which shed they have to perform the last rites. If they don't, they are directed to the right one by the workers at the crematorium.</p><p align="justify">&quot;People know. It is prevalent only in 4 or 5 old ones where there is enough space,&quot; advocate Ramchandra Machwal told The Hindu.</p><p align="justify">The court order came on a PIL Mr. Machwal filed last year after he and his family had to wait long to perform the last rites of a relative.
