* The survey involves a participant answering 10 MCQs on various issues

On July 3, the Ministry of Education launched an online public poll to solicit comments from stakeholders in order to broaden the scope of discussions on the development of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), upon which new school textbooks would be developed. It will establish the framework for the school curriculum.

The Ministry of Education said, “The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education and Government of India has planned to invite views of various stakeholders through an online public consultation survey, which will be instrumental in collating very useful and crucial inputs for the formulation of National Curriculum Framework and also subsequently designing the syllabus, textbooks and other instructional materials.”

All interested parties are invited to take part in the online survey, which is being conducted in 23 languages, according to the ministry's announcement. This includes teachers, headmasters/principals, school leaders, educationists, parents, students, community members, NGOs, experts, public representatives, artists, artisans, farmers, and anyone else who has an interest in school education and teacher education. Every language listed in the Constitution's VIII Schedule is included.
