On Wednesday, participants will visit four sites of MGNREGA in the district to see how it is being implemented in the district.</p><p style="text-align: justify">Minister of state for rural development Mohan Kundaria inaugurated the workshop organized by Mussoorie-based Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration and hosted by the Gujarat government.</p><p style="text-align: justify">The IAS officers are hoping to learn the best practices to effectively implement the scheme which aims at enhancing the livelihood security of people in rural areas by guaranteeing hundred days of wage-employment in a financial year to a rural household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work.</p><p style="text-align: justify">The act provides employment to unskilled workforce at village level itself and helps them to get work at their doorstep.
