Not just this, a special team that had been constituted by the government for checking anomalies at Piprali panchayat samity in Sikar on February 1, 2011, after complaints from one Santosh Munda, was not sent there.&lt;br /&gt;

                <div align="justify">It's been a tale of misses for the state government on all counts as far as curbing corruption in MGNREGA is concerned.<br /><br />For, despite having conducted at least 35 special audit at various work sites in the state, there seems to be little action initiated by it as far as recovery of money, action against the culprits and in some cases even executing its plans are concerned.<br /><br />According to Shankar Singh of Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan (MKSS), &quot;The government in these 35 audits detected anomalies worth Rs 6,20,66,826 but so far it has been able to recover only Rs 1,04,98,321. The remaining Rs 5,15,68,506 is yet to be recovered.&quot;<br /><br />It has been nearly a year-and-a-half since the audits begun.<br /><br />In at least four places, the state had proposed lodging FIRs against culprits but no action was initiated.
