The act mandates immediate arrest and bars courts from granting anticipatory bail to the accused. But the apex court held that anticipatory bail can be granted if it is found, prima facie, that the complaint was meant to blackmail or harass the accused.&lt;br /&gt;

The act mandates immediate arrest and bars courts from granting anticipatory bail to the accused. But the apex court held that anticipatory bail can be granted if it is found, prima facie, that the complaint was meant to blackmail or harass the accused.&lt;br /&gt;
