Here is why: A police constable in Gujarat gets a monthly average salary of Rs 8,000 compared to Rs 13,000 to 15,000 in other states including, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Participants from Gujarat were disheartened to hear that constables in Haryana get Rs 12,000 per month. </font></p><p align="justify"><font >And, there is more: Haryana constables are better treated too. A constable on the beat duty need not come to the office.
