As per international standards, bacterial presence in drinking water should be less than five; but in the samples collected by our team, we found more than 10 bacteria,&amp;quot; said Dr V K Monga, chairman, health committee, MCD.&lt;br /&gt;

DJB should ensure that Delhiites get clean drinking water. A majority of the samples tested had faecal contamination. As per international standards, bacterial presence in drinking water should be less than five; but in the samples collected by our team, we found more than 10 bacteria,&amp;quot; said Dr V K Monga, chairman, health committee, MCD.&lt;br /&gt;

In the south zone, of the 109 samples collected, 21 were found to be unfit, while in Karol Bagh, 19 samples of 59 collected were found to be contaminated. &amp;quot;This is a serious issue. DJB should ensure that Delhiites get clean drinking water. A majority of the samples tested had faecal contamination. As per international standards, bacterial presence in drinking water should be less than five; but in the samples collected by our team, we found more than 10 bacteria,&amp;quot; said Dr V K Monga, chairman, health committee, MCD.&lt;br /&gt;

DJB should ensure that Delhiites get clean drinking water. A majority of the samples tested had faecal contamination.
