The survey was carried out in 55,000 villages and 380 urban areas from May 27 to June 6, officials said.At 2.22 lakh and 2.08 lakh workers, respectively, people from ST and SC communities, respectively, constitute 30.4 per cent and 28.5 per cent of the returnees, the state has found.
