The warder was booked under Section 304 IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and lodged in judicial custody. No one else has been found guilty in this case.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

The warder was booked under Section 304 IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and lodged in judicial custody. No one else has been found guilty in this case.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The earlier intimation by the prison authorities that Sukhchain died while undergoing treatment for his asthmatic problem did not hold ground and the Commission has held the government responsible, ordering relief to the victim&#039;s family.&lt;br /&gt;

In response, the Punjab Director-General of Police (Prison) said Sukhchain was beaten up by the jail warder and that he died subsequently while hospitalised.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The warder was booked under Section 304 IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and lodged in judicial custody. No one else has been found guilty in this case.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The earlier intimation by the prison authorities that Sukhchain died while undergoing treatment for his asthmatic problem did not hold ground and the Commission has held the government responsible, ordering relief to the victim&#039;s family.&lt;br /&gt;
