The court passed its observation while hearing a petition filed by former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh on phone-tapping case.&lt;br /&gt;

It expressed its displeasure over the tardy progress in the trial of the case.&lt;br /&gt;

The bench, after going through the records of the case and the number of cases pending before the Chief Metropolitian Magistrate, found that the judge was handling around 1500 cases and delay was because of frequent adjournments.&lt;br /&gt;

The court passed its observation while hearing a petition filed by former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh on phone-tapping case.&lt;br /&gt;

It expressed its displeasure over the tardy progress in the trial of the case.&lt;br /&gt;

The bench, after going through the records of the case and the number of cases pending before the Chief Metropolitian Magistrate, found that the judge was handling around 1500 cases and delay was because of frequent adjournments.&lt;br /&gt;

The court passed its observation while hearing a petition filed by former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh on phone-tapping case.&lt;br /&gt;

It expressed its displeasure over the tardy progress in the trial of the case.&lt;br /&gt;

The bench, after going through the records of the case and the number of cases pending before the Chief Metropolitian Magistrate, found that the judge was handling around 1500 cases and delay was because of frequent adjournments.&lt;br /&gt;

If by chance the government does it (setting up more courts), then we have difficulty in getting competent people&quot; . The court passed its observation while hearing a petition filed by former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh on phone-tapping case.<br /><br />It expressed its displeasure over the tardy progress in the trial of the case.<br /><br />The bench, after going through the records of the case and the number of cases pending before the Chief Metropolitian Magistrate, found that the judge was handling around 1500 cases and delay was because of frequent adjournments.<br /><br />&quot;Unless we have sufficient number of courts, such a situation would prevail. Four years would be taken for hearing on charges and further four years in concluding the trial. It should have been done in three months.
