Fatehsingh Chaudhary, a job card-holder, said, &amp;ldquo;The labourers were asked to sign documents and paid wages of Rs 50-60 per day by the sarpanch and her husband, who siphoned off the remaining amount by forging the signature in the muster rolls. Induben included 27 names in the list who never worked but have been paid. These names include sarpanch and her husband, deputy sarpanch and her husband, former sarpanch and her husband and others.&amp;rdquo; &lt;br /&gt;

Patel promised an inquiry and strict legal action against those found guilty.
