The RSS is a part of India Against Corruption, the organisation that is officially mobilising support through bulk SMSs, e- mails, organising press conferences et al for Hazare&amp;rsquo;s movement, not directly but through Youth Against Corruption which, in turn, is an arm of the Sangh&amp;rsquo;s student wing, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad ( ABVP).&lt;br /&gt;

Swaraj wanted to know why the RSS&amp;rsquo;s involvement with Hazare&amp;rsquo;s movement was a matter of any debate.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;ldquo; Someone from the other side was mentioning the RSS&amp;hellip; I don&amp;rsquo;t understand what happens to the home minister when the RSS decides to support a movement. Why does he get so agitated? &amp;ldquo; I want to know Mr PM, why do the police not take any action when separatists from Kashmir come and make seditious speeches in Delhi? You protect their human rights.&lt;br /&gt;

But if a sadhu in saffron or a Gandhian supported by the RSS comes to protest in Delhi, you start raining batons on them? I want to know why people get agitated by the mere mention of the RSS. The RSS is a nationalist organisation,&amp;rdquo; she said.&lt;br /&gt;

She also highlighted the mishandling of the entire issue by the government.<br /><br />But the most illuminating revelation Swaraj made was about the role of the RSS in Hazare&rsquo;s movement. The RSS is a part of India Against Corruption, the organisation that is officially mobilising support through bulk SMSs, e- mails, organising press conferences et al for Hazare&rsquo;s movement, not directly but through Youth Against Corruption which, in turn, is an arm of the Sangh&rsquo;s student wing, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad ( ABVP).<br /><br />Swaraj wanted to know why the RSS&rsquo;s involvement with Hazare&rsquo;s movement was a matter of any debate.<br /><br />&ldquo; Someone from the other side was mentioning the RSS&hellip; I don&rsquo;t understand what happens to the home minister when the RSS decides to support a movement. Why does he get so agitated? &ldquo; I want to know Mr PM, why do the police not take any action when separatists from Kashmir come and make seditious speeches in Delhi? You protect their human rights.<br /><br />But if a sadhu in saffron or a Gandhian supported by the RSS comes to protest in Delhi, you start raining batons on them? I want to know why people get agitated by the mere mention of the RSS. The RSS is a nationalist organisation,&rdquo; she said.<br /><br />She underlined the political strength the RSS, an unregistered &ldquo; cultural&rdquo; organisation, wields in the country.<br /><br />&ldquo; Madam Speaker, 116 MPs in this House and 45 Members of the Upper House owe allegiance to the RSS.
