The government is now thinking of earmarking such projects for fallow and non-irrigated land.</p><p align="justify">The ordinance was promulgated in December after the NDA government failed to push through amendments to the law, which had been passed during UPA rule.</p><p align="justify">The new government is planning to include the provisions of the ordinance in a bill that will be tabled during the budget session that begins on February 23.
