The alumni, elected representatives and education activists are all geared up to visit government schools to inspect the implementation of the scheme and quality of education.&lt;br /&gt;

This surely helps in providing education to students of city and rural areas and prevent dropouts.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But, is the department doing justice to tribal children remains a question. It was decided to open RBC, in association with education department and Vivekananda Girijana Kalyana Kendra (VGKK) for the benefit of soliga children at Keredimba and Gombegallu settlements last year. The main objective was to make about 40 tribal children join mainstream schools. According to the department 20 children have already been admitted to VGKK school.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Though months have passed since the academic year began, no RBC have been opened for the children of other settlements. There are 10 children at Gombegallu settlement and a government rule says that a RBC can be opened if there are a minimum of 10 children.&lt;br /&gt;
But, according to a voluntary organisation, it is difficult to run a school with only 10 children and a minimum of 25 students should be admitted for smooth functioning of the school. The government pays Rs 833 per child every month. A student should be provided boarding along with mid-day&amp;nbsp; meals. Due to the lack of coordination between the NGO and education department,&amp;nbsp; tribal children are being denied the much needed education.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;em&gt;Circular&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The state government had sent a circular to start two residential boarding centres for tribal children last year. Accordingly, a centre has opened at Hosapodu and a proposal to start another at Vonakaipodu is pending. There are 15 tribal children here, who are being denied minimum education.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;nbsp;This settlement comes under the BRT tiger reserve forest range and the teachers feel it is difficult to go there and teach the kids.&lt;br /&gt;

The alumni, elected representatives and education activists are all geared up to visit government schools to inspect the implementation of the scheme and quality of education.<br /><br />This surely helps in providing education to students of city and rural areas and prevent dropouts.<br /><br />But, is the department doing justice to tribal children remains a question. It was decided to open RBC, in association with education department and Vivekananda Girijana Kalyana Kendra (VGKK) for the benefit of soliga children at Keredimba and Gombegallu settlements last year. The main objective was to make about 40 tribal children join mainstream schools. According to the department 20 children have already been admitted to VGKK school.<br /><br />Though months have passed since the academic year began, no RBC have been opened for the children of other settlements. There are 10 children at Gombegallu settlement and a government rule says that a RBC can be opened if there are a minimum of 10 children.<br />But, according to a voluntary organisation, it is difficult to run a school with only 10 children and a minimum of 25 students should be admitted for smooth functioning of the school. The government pays Rs 833 per child every month. A student should be provided boarding along with mid-day&nbsp; meals. Due to the lack of coordination between the NGO and education department,&nbsp; tribal children are being denied the much needed education.<br /><br /><em>Circular<br /></em><br />The state government had sent a circular to start two residential boarding centres for tribal children last year. Accordingly, a centre has opened at Hosapodu and a proposal to start another at Vonakaipodu is pending.
