The Lokayukta case -- complaint number 232/11-- was registered on August 24 and has been signed by Ms V N Kaur, legal advisor to the Lokayukta.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Complainant Dube alleged that rules were violated as the protocol office cannot foot the bill of a private organization, in this case the MP IAS Officers Association. Dube wants the Lokayukta to register an FIR against the chief secretary as he misused his office, caused loss to the state exchequer and indulged in corrupt practice. He alleged that government rules have been violated by making the payment.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
However, government sources claimed that no rules were violated. They said that the general administration department, under which the protocol office falls, asked to foot the bill and all the necessary sanctions were accorded while making the payment.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
