&amp;ldquo;On the day of the accident, he was coming back from a high court hearing against a senior Transco official. He was fighting against corruption in the power department,&amp;rdquo; said Sonia Balwani, his daughter.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;ldquo;We want a reinvestigation of the case. Police still haven&amp;rsquo;t taken statements from the eyewitnesses,&amp;rdquo; she added.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The family has also written to the Delhi Police commissioner. &amp;ldquo;We strongly believe that this is not a normal hit-and-run case. The file my father was carrying on that day is missing, which suggests that he was hit deliberately and someone was aware of his movements,&amp;rdquo; she added.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After being hit, Balwani was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he died.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Sonia, along with her brother Varun, had rushed to B-10 market of Vasant Kunj after they were informed of the accident. &amp;ldquo;Instead of being taken to the nearest hospital, he was taken to AIIMS, where he was not given first-aid for almost 20 minutes. So far, police have claimed to have no lead on the car driver,&amp;rdquo; she further said.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Balwani was reportedly talking to an auto driver when he was hit by the car. Police have also failed to trace the auto driver.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Police said that investigations were on and allegations made by family would be investigated.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;ldquo;We haven&amp;rsquo;t received any formal letter from the family. Sections can be added in the existing FIR at any point,&amp;rdquo; said Chhaya Sharma, DCP (south).

The family has also written to the Delhi Police commissioner. &amp;ldquo;We strongly believe that this is not a normal hit-and-run case. The file my father was carrying on that day is missing, which suggests that he was hit deliberately and someone was aware of his movements,&amp;rdquo; she added.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After being hit, Balwani was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he died.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Sonia, along with her brother Varun, had rushed to B-10 market of Vasant Kunj after they were informed of the accident. &amp;ldquo;Instead of being taken to the nearest hospital, he was taken to AIIMS, where he was not given first-aid for almost 20 minutes. So far, police have claimed to have no lead on the car driver,&amp;rdquo; she further said.&lt;br /&gt;

Balwani was reportedly talking to an auto driver when he was hit by the car. Police have also failed to trace the auto driver.&lt;br /&gt;

Balwani, who retired in 2010 as manager of Transco, was fighting against leaders of political parties and corruption in the power department.<br /><br />&ldquo;On the day of the accident, he was coming back from a high court hearing against a senior Transco official. He was fighting against corruption in the power department,&rdquo; said Sonia Balwani, his daughter.<br /><br />&ldquo;We want a reinvestigation of the case. Police still haven&rsquo;t taken statements from the eyewitnesses,&rdquo; she added.<br /><br />The family has also written to the Delhi Police commissioner. &ldquo;We strongly believe that this is not a normal hit-and-run case. The file my father was carrying on that day is missing, which suggests that he was hit deliberately and someone was aware of his movements,&rdquo; she added.<br /><br />After being hit, Balwani was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he died.<br /><br />Sonia, along with her brother Varun, had rushed to B-10 market of Vasant Kunj after they were informed of the accident. &ldquo;Instead of being taken to the nearest hospital, he was taken to AIIMS, where he was not given first-aid for almost 20 minutes. So far, police have claimed to have no lead on the car driver,&rdquo; she further said.<br /><br />Balwani was reportedly talking to an auto driver when he was hit by the car. He was fighting against corruption in the power department,&rdquo; said Sonia Balwani, his daughter.<br /><br />&ldquo;We want a reinvestigation of the case. Police still haven&rsquo;t taken statements from the eyewitnesses,&rdquo; she added.<br /><br />The family has also written to the Delhi Police commissioner. &ldquo;We strongly believe that this is not a normal hit-and-run case. The file my father was carrying on that day is missing, which suggests that he was hit deliberately and someone was aware of his movements,&rdquo; she added.<br /><br />After being hit, Balwani was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he died.<br /><br />Sonia, along with her brother Varun, had rushed to B-10 market of Vasant Kunj after they were informed of the accident. &ldquo;Instead of being taken to the nearest hospital, he was taken to AIIMS, where he was not given first-aid for almost 20 minutes. So far, police have claimed to have no lead on the car driver,&rdquo; she further said.<br /><br />Balwani was reportedly talking to an auto driver when he was hit by the car.
