&ldquo;Any person who makes any sketch, plan, model, or note calculated to be or might be or is intended to be, directly or indirectly&rdquo; useful to an enemy, could be jailed under the OSA.<br />
<br />
Former CPM MP Mohammed Salim, who said he had raised the issue in Parliament several times, stressed: &ldquo;The law needs to be diluted.&rdquo;<br />
<br />
Lawyer and activist Colin Gonsalves wants it to be done away with altogether. &ldquo;If anything relating to security is to be kept secret, let the government sign a contract with employees which would bind them. There are provisions under the Indian penal code (IPC),&rdquo; he said.
