The session, which was earlier slated to commence from June 24, will now start on June 13.<br /><br />Ms. Banerjee told reporters at the Secretariat: &ldquo;The Ordinance is not being brought into force.&rdquo; She said the Bill (which she named as the Singur Bill) would be moved after the Governor's address. &ldquo;This would be a new session of the House and it would be the budget session, but for now no new Bills would be placed barring the &lsquo;Singur Bill,' Ms. Banerjee said.<br /><br />Giving the rationale behind the change of mind, Ms. Banerjee said even if she had notified the ordinance, her government would have had to introduce a Bill within six months.<br /><br />&ldquo;This would have led to loss of time.
