As he got up, the Congress members, in a lighter vein, commented how Thakur was like the new &quot;bahu&quot; of the BJP. As the conversation took this turn, Congress MLA from Ratlam Laxmi Devi Kharari asked about the &quot;ghunghat&quot; of the 'daughter-in-law'.<br /><br />&quot;When I was newly married, I used to wear ghunghat which was more than a feet long over my face,&quot; she said. Thakur was previously with the Congress and a former minister in the Digvijaya Singh government before joining the BJP just weeks before the 2008 assembly elections. As he got up, the Congress members, in a lighter vein, commented how Thakur was like the new "bahu" of the BJP. As the conversation took this turn, Congress MLA from Ratlam Laxmi Devi Kharari asked about the "ghunghat" of the 'daughter-in-law'.
