The move comes after the Centre received a citizen's' petition in February which drew attention to the alarming rise in the number of C-sections in India, mainly in private hospitals.<br /><br />CGHS has empanelled many private hospitals across the country, especially in metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi, to provide specialized healthcare to its employees. Over 60 private hospitals are empanelled in New Delhi alone. The move comes after the Centre received a citizen's' petition in February which drew attention to the alarming rise in the number of C-sections in India, mainly in private hospitals.<br /><br />CGHS has empanelled many private hospitals across the country, especially in metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi, to provide specialized healthcare to its employees. Over 60 private hospitals are empanelled in New Delhi alone.
