After identification of these families on the basis of their Gram Panchayats the Civil Society Organisation would be asked to encourage these families to take part in NREGS.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The Civil Society Organisation is a network of NGOs that carry out social auditing of the NREGS in Uttar Pradesh. The Nodal agency, responsible for selection of women and poor beneficiaries, would comprise Commissioner, Rural Development, Director, Giri Institute of Development Studies, Director, Akhil Bharatiya Samaj Sewa Sansthan, an NGO in Chitrakut and Deputy Commissioner, NREGS Committee.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Singh said the deprived families are the most illiterate lot and they eke out their living by working as menial labourers. &quot;The MGNREGS is the pivotal scheme to pull these families out of the mire of poverty and deprivation. The Nodal agency, responsible for selection of women and poor beneficiaries, would comprise Commissioner, Rural Development, Director, Giri Institute of Development Studies, Director, Akhil Bharatiya Samaj Sewa Sansthan, an NGO in Chitrakut and Deputy Commissioner, NREGS Committee.</font>
