According to the &lsquo;Crime in Karnataka 2010', a study compiled by the State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) recently, although there was a reduction in violent crimes &mdash; from 369 in 2009 to 304 in 2010 &mdash; number of other crimes had shown a marked increase.
