                <p align="justify"><font >Tradition is hard to follow in the current jet age. The struggle to survive combined with the hectic demands of the modern day living are fast leaving behind the traditional cultural values which have been treasured by our ancestors. The exception to an extent was the rural Jharkhand. Even amidst the electronic blitzkrieg and cacophonic sounds emerging even from mobile phones the traditional music during various local festivals is still being preserved in the rural areas.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Jharkhand&rsquo;s <a href="https://im4change.in/articles.php?articleId=1181" title="https://im4change.in/articles.php?articleId=1181">tribal</a> concentration is overwhelming. The main tribal races are Oraon, Munda, Santhal, Kharia, Bhumij, Ho, Rabha, Toto, Lodha, Mench etc. Many from these communities had migrated to Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan during the British regime centuries ago as laborers, to work in the tea garden and other sectors and currently too from one state to other in considerable number in search of livelihood and have more or less deserted their parent State. </font></p><p align="justify"><font >The tribal communities, basically nature loving and residing mostly in forests or adjoining to forests with peace, security and harmony, have been depending on forest flora and Fauna for their subsistence and livelihood. There has been continuous attack on the Socio-cultural heritage as well as Economic Institutions of this population, with the emergence of the so called different modern developmental projects in the name of industrialization, urbanization, mining (especially open cast mining), deforestation and desertification and many others. All these projects with the concept of Globalization and Patent Laws has been continuously hampering the Pre-historic rich socio-cultural heritage and the socio-economic institutions of different tribal communities, by making them displaced from their original Hamlets and compelled to shift to urban areas for their subsistence and livelihood, leaving behind their pre-historic socio-cultural heritage and the economic institutions.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Due to globalization and economic liberalization their traditional economic activities, intellectual property rights have been threatened. The tribal communities are not even in a position to adjust to the new urban culture. All these developmental projects have proved to be annihilator for the indigenous mass in general and the tribal communities in particular. This is becoming a burning problem and giving direct threat even to their very existence. If this trend continues unabated there is every possibility of the tribal communities vanishing in the near future and their rich pre-historical socio-cultural heritage demolished.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The situation could be controlled by giving proper recognition and participation of the indigenous people (both tribes &amp; non tribes) in different developmental projects. The folk traditions are recognized as the socio-cultural image of the human society. Each one of the races has own folk traditions and efforts made to preserve them at any cost. <br /></font></p>               </font>

The exception to an extent was the rural Jharkhand. Even amidst the electronic blitzkrieg and cacophonic sounds emerging even from mobile phones the traditional music during various local festivals is still being preserved in the rural areas.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Jharkhand&rsquo;s <a href="https://im4change.in/articles.php?articleId=1181" title="https://im4change.in/articles.php?articleId=1181">tribal</a> concentration is overwhelming. The main tribal races are Oraon, Munda, Santhal, Kharia, Bhumij, Ho, Rabha, Toto, Lodha, Mench etc. Many from these communities had migrated to Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan during the British regime centuries ago as laborers, to work in the tea garden and other sectors and currently too from one state to other in considerable number in search of livelihood and have more or less deserted their parent State. </font></p><p align="justify"><font >The tribal communities, basically nature loving and residing mostly in forests or adjoining to forests with peace, security and harmony, have been depending on forest flora and Fauna for their subsistence and livelihood. There has been continuous attack on the Socio-cultural heritage as well as Economic Institutions of this population, with the emergence of the so called different modern developmental projects in the name of industrialization, urbanization, mining (especially open cast mining), deforestation and desertification and many others. All these projects with the concept of Globalization and Patent Laws has been continuously hampering the Pre-historic rich socio-cultural heritage and the socio-economic institutions of different tribal communities, by making them displaced from their original Hamlets and compelled to shift to urban areas for their subsistence and livelihood, leaving behind their pre-historic socio-cultural heritage and the economic institutions.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Due to globalization and economic liberalization their traditional economic activities, intellectual property rights have been threatened. The tribal communities are not even in a position to adjust to the new urban culture. All these developmental projects have proved to be annihilator for the indigenous mass in general and the tribal communities in particular. This is becoming a burning problem and giving direct threat even to their very existence. If this trend continues unabated there is every possibility of the tribal communities vanishing in the near future and their rich pre-historical socio-cultural heritage demolished.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The situation could be controlled by giving proper recognition and participation of the indigenous people (both tribes &amp; non tribes) in different developmental projects.
