Sajaya from CCC said the meals served by Akshaya Patra Foundation in Medak district kept eggs off the menu owing to religious beliefs professed by the organisation. Instead, students were being given bananas and other snacks. Only after protests and the district Collector&amp;rsquo;s intervention did the organisation bring the egg back, she noted, speaking after release of the report at an event here on Friday. The study evaluated ICDS and mid-day meal schemes in 10 districts of Telangana.
