On receiving such an application, the committee would inquire the threat perception and call a threat analysis from the district inspector of police, criminal investigation department and such other authorities or offices.<br />

<br />
He said to seek security, a whistleblower or RTI activist or complainant or witness in a serious case who had perceived threat to his life or liberty, could submit an application to the district-level committee through the commissioner of police or district superintendent of police.<br />
<br />
On receiving such an application, the committee would inquire the threat perception and call a threat analysis from the district inspector of police, criminal investigation department and such other authorities or offices.<br />
<br />
He said: &quot;Keeping in view the intensity of threat, security would be provided to whistleblowers or the RTI activists or complainants or witness in serious cases,&quot; adding that the process would be completed in a week.<br />
