The same came as a far cry from his comrade and chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who had earlier declared his personal assets worth at Rs 5,000.<br /><br />The combined assets of Jain, a masters in law and a practising advocate, filed before the Survey Building at Alipore on Wednesday, totals Rs 4,38,22,846, nearly double his individual assets.<br /><br />The Left nominee, 53, further detailed the list of his moveable and immoveable properties before the returning officer on the day. His movable assets are worth Rs 1,39,03,537, comprising bank deposits, jewellery and cash in hand. Again, his immovable assets includes a residential apartment at Ho Chi Min Sarani, cash advance to a cooperative for a flat at Rajarhat and a plot of land at Vaastu Nirman Pvt Ltd in the name of his spouse.<br /><br />His immovable properties further feature cash advance for flats coming up under the green field project at Behala, in addition to apartments booked at (Sukhobristi) Bengal Shapoorji and Housing Development.<br /><br />Mayor Sovan Chatterjee and the Trinamool Congress candidate from the Behala (East) assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday and listed his personal assets to be worth Rs 2, 46,79,144, while the wealth of his spouse stands at Rs 2,32,48,965.<br /><br /></div>

                            <div align="justify">Narayan Prasad Jain, CPI(M)&rsquo;s candidate from Bhowanipore assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday and declared his individual assets to be worth Rs 2,41,63,447. The same came as a far cry from his comrade and chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who had earlier declared his personal assets worth at Rs 5,000.<br /><br />The combined assets of Jain, a masters in law and a practising advocate, filed before the Survey Building at Alipore on Wednesday, totals Rs 4,38,22,846, nearly double his individual assets.<br /><br />The Left nominee, 53, further detailed the list of his moveable and immoveable properties before the returning officer on the day. His movable assets are worth Rs 1,39,03,537, comprising bank deposits, jewellery and cash in hand. Again, his immovable assets includes a residential apartment at Ho Chi Min Sarani, cash advance to a cooperative for a flat at Rajarhat and a plot of land at Vaastu Nirman Pvt Ltd in the name of his spouse.<br /><br />His immovable properties further feature cash advance for flats coming up under the green field project at Behala, in addition to apartments booked at (Sukhobristi) Bengal Shapoorji and Housing Development.<br /><br />Mayor Sovan Chatterjee and the Trinamool Congress candidate from the Behala (East) assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday and listed his personal assets to be worth Rs 2, 46,79,144, while the wealth of his spouse stands at Rs 2,32,48,965.<br /><br /></div>

                            <div align="justify">Narayan Prasad Jain, CPI(M)&rsquo;s candidate from Bhowanipore assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday and declared his individual assets to be worth Rs 2,41,63,447. The same came as a far cry from his comrade and chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who had earlier declared his personal assets worth at Rs 5,000.<br /><br />The combined assets of Jain, a masters in law and a practising advocate, filed before the Survey Building at Alipore on Wednesday, totals Rs 4,38,22,846, nearly double his individual assets.<br /><br />The Left nominee, 53, further detailed the list of his moveable and immoveable properties before the returning officer on the day. His movable assets are worth Rs 1,39,03,537, comprising bank deposits, jewellery and cash in hand. Again, his immovable assets includes a residential apartment at Ho Chi Min Sarani, cash advance to a cooperative for a flat at Rajarhat and a plot of land at Vaastu Nirman Pvt Ltd in the name of his spouse.<br /><br />His immovable properties further feature cash advance for flats coming up under the green field project at Behala, in addition to apartments booked at (Sukhobristi) Bengal Shapoorji and Housing Development.<br /><br />Mayor Sovan Chatterjee and the Trinamool Congress candidate from the Behala (East) assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday and listed his personal assets to be worth Rs 2, 46,79,144, while the wealth of his spouse stands at Rs 2,32,48,965.<br /><br /></div>

Left front candidate beats CM on asset count by Sukumar Debnath

Narayan Prasad Jain, CPI(M)’s candidate from Bhowanipore assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday and declared his individual assets to be worth Rs 2,41,63,447. The same came as a far cry from his comrade and chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who had earlier declared his personal assets worth at Rs 5,000. The combined assets of Jain, a masters in law and a practising advocate, filed before the Survey Building at Alipore on Wednesday, totals Rs 4,38,22,846, nearly double his individual assets. The Left nominee, 53, further detailed the list of his moveable and immoveable properties before the returning officer on the day. His movable assets are worth Rs 1,39,03,537, comprising bank deposits, jewellery and cash in hand. Again, his immovable assets includes a residential apartment at Ho Chi Min Sarani, cash advance to a cooperative for a flat at Rajarhat and a plot of land at Vaastu Nirman Pvt Ltd in the name of his spouse. His immovable properties further feature cash advance for flats coming up under the green field project at Behala, in addition to apartments booked at (Sukhobristi) Bengal Shapoorji and Housing Development. Mayor Sovan Chatterjee and the Trinamool Congress candidate from the Behala (East) assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday and listed his personal assets to be worth Rs 2, 46,79,144, while the wealth of his spouse stands at Rs 2,32,48,965.
