                            <div style="text-align: justify">-The Hindu</div><div style="text-align: justify">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify">No talks were held on Tuesday between the management and the striking workers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited's Manesar plant following the management's decision to go ahead with internal inquiries against three office-bearers of the unrecognised union that the workers have named Maruti Suzuki Employees' Union.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">However, negotiations between the striking workers of Suzuki Powertrain India Limited and that company's management continued for the second successive day on Tuesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Workers of Maruti's Manesar plant expressed unhappiness over the management decision to go ahead with the internal inquires instead of focusing on the pressing issue at hand of finding an amicable solution to the unresolved issues at the plant.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Workers said the first round of talks was scheduled in the morning at Gurgaon but it had to be cancelled as three leaders of the struggle, Sonu Kumar, Shiv Kumar and Naveen, had to appear for the internal inquiry before the management of the Manesar plant at noon. The inquiry, according to the workers, went on for six to seven hours, as a result of which they missed the talks which had been rescheduled for 6 p.m.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">The talks are now expected to resume on Wednesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Maruti in a statement said: &ldquo;Cars started to roll out of the company's plant in Manesar on Tuesday. The company rolled out 350 cars from the Manesar plant on Tuesday. No cars had been manufactured here since the evening of October 7, when workers went in for an illegal stay-in strike.&rdquo;</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">The company said that 400 workers had turned up for work on Tuesday compared to 180 on Monday at Manesar. It further claimed that 1,750 vehicles were manufactured at the Gurgaon plant on Tuesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div>

                            <div style="text-align: justify">-The Hindu</div><div style="text-align: justify">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify">No talks were held on Tuesday between the management and the striking workers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited's Manesar plant following the management's decision to go ahead with internal inquiries against three office-bearers of the unrecognised union that the workers have named Maruti Suzuki Employees' Union.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">However, negotiations between the striking workers of Suzuki Powertrain India Limited and that company's management continued for the second successive day on Tuesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Workers of Maruti's Manesar plant expressed unhappiness over the management decision to go ahead with the internal inquires instead of focusing on the pressing issue at hand of finding an amicable solution to the unresolved issues at the plant.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Workers said the first round of talks was scheduled in the morning at Gurgaon but it had to be cancelled as three leaders of the struggle, Sonu Kumar, Shiv Kumar and Naveen, had to appear for the internal inquiry before the management of the Manesar plant at noon. The inquiry, according to the workers, went on for six to seven hours, as a result of which they missed the talks which had been rescheduled for 6 p.m.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">The talks are now expected to resume on Wednesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Maruti in a statement said: &ldquo;Cars started to roll out of the company's plant in Manesar on Tuesday. The company rolled out 350 cars from the Manesar plant on Tuesday. No cars had been manufactured here since the evening of October 7, when workers went in for an illegal stay-in strike.&rdquo;</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">The company said that 400 workers had turned up for work on Tuesday compared to 180 on Monday at Manesar. It further claimed that 1,750 vehicles were manufactured at the Gurgaon plant on Tuesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div>

                            <div style="text-align: justify">-The Hindu</div><div style="text-align: justify">&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: justify">No talks were held on Tuesday between the management and the striking workers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited's Manesar plant following the management's decision to go ahead with internal inquiries against three office-bearers of the unrecognised union that the workers have named Maruti Suzuki Employees' Union.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">However, negotiations between the striking workers of Suzuki Powertrain India Limited and that company's management continued for the second successive day on Tuesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Workers of Maruti's Manesar plant expressed unhappiness over the management decision to go ahead with the internal inquires instead of focusing on the pressing issue at hand of finding an amicable solution to the unresolved issues at the plant.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Workers said the first round of talks was scheduled in the morning at Gurgaon but it had to be cancelled as three leaders of the struggle, Sonu Kumar, Shiv Kumar and Naveen, had to appear for the internal inquiry before the management of the Manesar plant at noon. The inquiry, according to the workers, went on for six to seven hours, as a result of which they missed the talks which had been rescheduled for 6 p.m.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">The talks are now expected to resume on Wednesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">Maruti in a statement said: &ldquo;Cars started to roll out of the company's plant in Manesar on Tuesday. The company rolled out 350 cars from the Manesar plant on Tuesday. No cars had been manufactured here since the evening of October 7, when workers went in for an illegal stay-in strike.&rdquo;</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify">The company said that 400 workers had turned up for work on Tuesday compared to 180 on Monday at Manesar. It further claimed that 1,750 vehicles were manufactured at the Gurgaon plant on Tuesday.</div><div style="text-align: justify"><br /></div>

Maruti management blamed for no talks

-The Hindu   No talks were held on Tuesday between the management and the striking workers of Maruti Suzuki India Limited's Manesar plant following the management's decision to go ahead with internal inquiries against three office-bearers of the unrecognised union that the workers have named Maruti Suzuki Employees' Union. However, negotiations between the striking workers of Suzuki Powertrain India Limited and that company's management continued for the second successive day on Tuesday. Workers of Maruti's Manesar plant expressed unhappiness over the management decision to go ahead with the internal inquires instead of focusing on the pressing issue at hand of finding an amicable solution to the unresolved issues at the plant. Workers said the first round of talks was scheduled in the morning at Gurgaon but it had to be cancelled as three leaders of the struggle, Sonu Kumar, Shiv Kumar and Naveen, had to appear for the internal inquiry before the management of the Manesar plant at noon. The inquiry, according to the workers, went on for six to seven hours, as a result of which they missed the talks which had been rescheduled for 6 p.m. The talks are now expected to resume on Wednesday. Maruti in a statement said: “Cars started to roll out of the company's plant in Manesar on Tuesday. The company rolled out 350 cars from the Manesar plant on Tuesday. No cars had been manufactured here since the evening of October 7, when workers went in for an illegal stay-in strike.” The company said that 400 workers had turned up for work on Tuesday compared to 180 on Monday at Manesar. It further claimed that 1,750 vehicles were manufactured at the Gurgaon plant on Tuesday.
