                            <div align="justify">-Livemint.com<br /><br /><em>Saying that it was a true PIL, SC sought responses from the Centre in a farmers&rsquo; body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers<br /><br />New Delhi: </em>Saying that it was a true public interest litigation (PIL), the Supreme Court on Friday sought responses from the Centre in a farmers&rsquo; body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers.<br /><br />The Central government is supposed to reply within six weeks.<br /><br />A three-judge bench comprising chief justice H.L. Dattu, justices S. A. Bobde and Amitava Roy said that this was the type of case that warranted a PIL.<br /><br />The Consortium of Indian Farmers has sought implementation of a report of the Committee for Agricultural Cost and Pricing, which had recommended creation of a sugar price stabilization fund.<br /><br />The association sought to pay the farmers a compensation for the &ldquo;gap between the cane prices obtained as per Revenue Sharing Formula (RSF) and the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP), in case where the prices obtained by RSF are lower than the FRP during 2015-16&rdquo;.</div>

                            <div align="justify">-Livemint.com<br /><br /><em>Saying that it was a true PIL, SC sought responses from the Centre in a farmers&rsquo; body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers<br /><br />New Delhi: </em>Saying that it was a true public interest litigation (PIL), the Supreme Court on Friday sought responses from the Centre in a farmers&rsquo; body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers.<br /><br />The Central government is supposed to reply within six weeks.<br /><br />A three-judge bench comprising chief justice H.L. Dattu, justices S. A. Bobde and Amitava Roy said that this was the type of case that warranted a PIL.<br /><br />The Consortium of Indian Farmers has sought implementation of a report of the Committee for Agricultural Cost and Pricing, which had recommended creation of a sugar price stabilization fund.<br /><br />The association sought to pay the farmers a compensation for the &ldquo;gap between the cane prices obtained as per Revenue Sharing Formula (RSF) and the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP), in case where the prices obtained by RSF are lower than the FRP during 2015-16&rdquo;.</div>

                            <div align="justify">-Livemint.com<br /><br /><em>Saying that it was a true PIL, SC sought responses from the Centre in a farmers&rsquo; body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers<br /><br />New Delhi: </em>Saying that it was a true public interest litigation (PIL), the Supreme Court on Friday sought responses from the Centre in a farmers&rsquo; body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers.<br /><br />The Central government is supposed to reply within six weeks.<br /><br />A three-judge bench comprising chief justice H.L. Dattu, justices S. A. Bobde and Amitava Roy said that this was the type of case that warranted a PIL.<br /><br />The Consortium of Indian Farmers has sought implementation of a report of the Committee for Agricultural Cost and Pricing, which had recommended creation of a sugar price stabilization fund.<br /><br />The association sought to pay the farmers a compensation for the &ldquo;gap between the cane prices obtained as per Revenue Sharing Formula (RSF) and the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP), in case where the prices obtained by RSF are lower than the FRP during 2015-16&rdquo;.</div>

-Livemint.com Saying that it was a true PIL, SC sought responses from the Centre in a farmers’ body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers New Delhi: Saying that it was a true public interest litigation (PIL), the Supreme Court on Friday sought responses from the Centre in a farmers’ body plea for setting up a stabilization fund for cane farmers. The Central government is supposed to reply within six weeks. A three-judge bench comprising chief justice H.L. Dattu, justices S. A. Bobde and Amitava Roy said that this was the type of case that warranted a PIL. The Consortium of Indian Farmers has sought implementation of a report of the Committee for Agricultural Cost and Pricing, which had recommended creation of a sugar price stabilization fund. The association sought to pay the farmers a compensation for the “gap between the cane prices obtained as per Revenue Sharing Formula (RSF) and the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP), in case where the prices obtained by RSF are lower than the FRP during 2015-16”.
