<p style="text-align:justify">Their contention was that India had been providing minimum support prices to its farmers in violation of WTO rules. By promoting its own interests, India has apparently been acting against the interests of US farmers and ranchers. The decision to send the letter was initiated and coordinated by Rick Crawford and Tracey Crawford – two Congressmen who have received campaign funding from US agribusinesses.</p>
