                            <p style="text-align:justify">-Fourth MGNREGA tracker by Peoples&#39; Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG), released on 10th December, 2020</p><p style="text-align:justify">The latest tracker of the Peoples&#39; Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG) focuses on the state of implementation of MGNREGA in the country.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Highlights of the Tracker:</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>1. </strong>1.3 crore Job Cards issued this year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>2.</strong> 13 percent unmet demand. 97 lakh households have had their demand unmet at some point in the year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>3.</strong> While over 1 crore more Households worked in NREGA this year compared to last year, the average employment per Household remains low i.e., 41 as compared to 48 last year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>4.</strong> There is a 43 percent increase in Persondays (PD) generated as of November compared to November last year. This means that the government should have allocated at least 379 crore Persondays in the Labour Budget this year. However, as of now the allocation is of only 324 crore Persondays.                             <p style="text-align:justify">-Fourth MGNREGA tracker by Peoples&#39; Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG), released on 10th December, 2020</p><p style="text-align:justify">The latest tracker of the Peoples&#39; Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG) focuses on the state of implementation of MGNREGA in the country.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Highlights of the Tracker:</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>1. </strong>1.3 crore Job Cards issued this year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>2.</strong> 13 percent unmet demand. 97 lakh households have had their demand unmet at some point in the year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>3.</strong> While over 1 crore more Households worked in NREGA this year compared to last year, the average employment per Household remains low i.e., 41 as compared to 48 last year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>4.</strong> There is a 43 percent increase in Persondays (PD) generated as of November compared to November last year. This means that the government should have allocated at least 379 crore Persondays in the Labour Budget this year. However, as of now the allocation is of only 324 crore Persondays. This means that the government is extremely short of budget.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>5.</strong> 45.6 lakh households that applied for a Job Card (JC) were not issued a JC this year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>6.</strong> A meagre 19.8% of the allocated NREGA fund remains to generate employment for the remaining 4 months.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>7.</strong> Pending wages are currently Rs.1,458 crore.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>8.</strong> 17 lakh Households have completed 100 days of employment this year, compared to 40.6 lakh last year.                             <p style="text-align:justify">-Fourth MGNREGA tracker by Peoples&#39; Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG), released on 10th December, 2020</p><p style="text-align:justify">The latest tracker of the Peoples&#39; Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG) focuses on the state of implementation of MGNREGA in the country.</p><p style="text-align:justify">Highlights of the Tracker:</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>1. </strong>1.3 crore Job Cards issued this year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>2.</strong> 13 percent unmet demand. 97 lakh households have had their demand unmet at some point in the year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>3.</strong> While over 1 crore more Households worked in NREGA this year compared to last year, the average employment per Household remains low i.e., 41 as compared to 48 last year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>4.</strong> There is a 43 percent increase in Persondays (PD) generated as of November compared to November last year. This means that the government should have allocated at least 379 crore Persondays in the Labour Budget this year. However, as of now the allocation is of only 324 crore Persondays. This means that the government is extremely short of budget.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>5.</strong> 45.6 lakh households that applied for a Job Card (JC) were not issued a JC this year.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>6.</strong> A meagre 19.8% of the allocated NREGA fund remains to generate employment for the remaining 4 months.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>7.</strong> Pending wages are currently Rs.1,458 crore.</p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong>8.</strong> 17 lakh Households have completed 100 days of employment this year, compared to 40.6 lakh last year. Around 45.6 lakh households did not receive their MGNREGA job cards despite applying for it till November end this year

-Fourth MGNREGA tracker by Peoples' Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG), released on 10th December, 2020 The latest tracker of the Peoples' Action for Employment Guarantee (PAEG) focuses on the state of implementation of MGNREGA in the country. Highlights of the Tracker: 1. 1.3 crore Job Cards issued this year. 2. 13 percent unmet demand. 97 lakh households have had their demand unmet at some point in the year. 3. While over 1 crore more Households worked in NREGA this year compared to last year, the average employment per Household remains low i.e., 41 as compared to 48 last year. 4. There is a 43 percent increase in Persondays (PD) generated as of November compared to November last year. This means that the government should have allocated at least 379 crore Persondays in the Labour Budget this year. However, as of now the allocation is of only 324 crore Persondays. This means that the government is extremely short of budget. 5. 45.6 lakh households that applied for a Job Card (JC) were not issued a JC this year. 6. A meagre 19.8% of the allocated NREGA fund remains to generate employment for the remaining 4 months. 7. Pending wages are currently Rs.1,458 crore. 8. 17 lakh Households have completed 100 days of employment this year, compared to 40.6 lakh last year.
