The Central Government requested State Governments/Union Territory Administrations under PM POSHAN Scheme to include millet in the midday meal in order to enhance nutrition among children.</p><p style="text-align:justify">&quot;It is suggested to introduce millets (coarse grains) based menu once a week and also conduct cooking competitions among Cook-cum-Helpers to popularize millet-based recipes.                             <p style="text-align:justify">-IndiaToday.in</p><p style="text-align:justify"><em>Mid-Day Meal Scheme will be including millets in order to enhance the nutrition among children, said the Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi.</em></p><p style="text-align:justify">Mid-day meal will include millets (coarse grains) soon, said the Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi in a written reply to Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The Central Government requested State Governments/Union Territory Administrations under PM POSHAN Scheme to include millet in the midday meal in order to enhance nutrition among children.</p><p style="text-align:justify">&quot;It is suggested to introduce millets (coarse grains) based menu once a week and also conduct cooking competitions among Cook-cum-Helpers to popularize millet-based recipes.                             <p style="text-align:justify">-IndiaToday.in</p><p style="text-align:justify"><em>Mid-Day Meal Scheme will be including millets in order to enhance the nutrition among children, said the Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi.</em></p><p style="text-align:justify">Mid-day meal will include millets (coarse grains) soon, said the Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi in a written reply to Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The Central Government requested State Governments/Union Territory Administrations under PM POSHAN Scheme to include millet in the midday meal in order to enhance nutrition among children.</p><p style="text-align:justify">&quot;It is suggested to introduce millets (coarse grains) based menu once a week and also conduct cooking competitions among Cook-cum-Helpers to popularize millet-based recipes. Mid-day Meal Scheme to include millets

-IndiaToday.in Mid-Day Meal Scheme will be including millets in order to enhance the nutrition among children, said the Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi. Mid-day meal will include millets (coarse grains) soon, said the Minister of State for Education, Annpurna Devi in a written reply to Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The Central Government requested State Governments/Union Territory Administrations under PM POSHAN Scheme to include millet in the midday meal in order to enhance nutrition among children. "It is suggested to introduce millets (coarse grains) based menu once a week and also conduct cooking competitions among Cook-cum-Helpers to popularize millet-based recipes. It is also suggested preparing small videos for creating awareness about the goodness of millets and showcasing them in schools and consumption of millets may be discussed during the School Management Committees (SMCs) and Parent Teachers Meeting (PTM)," said the MoS Education, Annpurna Devi. Plan to introduce millets in mid-day meal NITI Aayog conducted a national consultation with state governments and union territories collecting the best practices from Odisha, Telangana, and Karnataka.
