                            <p align="justify"><font ></font></p><p align="justify"><font >The state government has prepared a strategy to provide 100-day job to 10 lakh most deprived families under Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in this fiscal.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >&quot;These targeted 10 lakh people would include 5 lakh the most poor families and the rest, 5 lakh, would be women,&quot; Secretary Rural Development Manoj Singh said here on Sunday.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >He said to start with the families would be identified and their data base would be prepared by a nodal agency. After identification of these families on the basis of their Gram Panchayats the Civil Society Organisation would be asked to encourage these families to take part in NREGS.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The Civil Society Organisation is a network of NGOs that carry out social auditing of the NREGS in Uttar Pradesh. The Nodal agency, responsible for selection of women and poor beneficiaries, would comprise Commissioner, Rural Development, Director, Giri Institute of Development Studies, Director, Akhil Bharatiya Samaj Sewa Sansthan, an NGO in Chitrakut and Deputy Commissioner, NREGS Committee.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Singh said the deprived families are the most illiterate lot and they eke out their living by working as menial labourers. &quot;The MGNREGS is the pivotal scheme to pull these families out of the mire of poverty and deprivation. And therefore identification of these families is must,&quot; he said.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The Government effort to provide employment to women is an attempt to empower the women force. Though the MGNREGS stresses on giving work to women but official records do not justify these claims. The Secretary Rural development admits that barring Bundelkhand and Vindhayanchal the participation of women in NREGS is much less than 33 per cent.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >&quot;Keeping the poor participation record of women in mind the scheme to provide compulsory employment under NREGS to women would be implemented in 26 districts,&quot; he said and added the pradhans would be asked to prepare the job cards. </font></p><p align="justify"><font ></font></p>

                            <p align="justify"><font ></font></p><p align="justify"><font >The state government has prepared a strategy to provide 100-day job to 10 lakh most deprived families under Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in this fiscal.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >&quot;These targeted 10 lakh people would include 5 lakh the most poor families and the rest, 5 lakh, would be women,&quot; Secretary Rural Development Manoj Singh said here on Sunday.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >He said to start with the families would be identified and their data base would be prepared by a nodal agency. After identification of these families on the basis of their Gram Panchayats the Civil Society Organisation would be asked to encourage these families to take part in NREGS.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The Civil Society Organisation is a network of NGOs that carry out social auditing of the NREGS in Uttar Pradesh. The Nodal agency, responsible for selection of women and poor beneficiaries, would comprise Commissioner, Rural Development, Director, Giri Institute of Development Studies, Director, Akhil Bharatiya Samaj Sewa Sansthan, an NGO in Chitrakut and Deputy Commissioner, NREGS Committee.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Singh said the deprived families are the most illiterate lot and they eke out their living by working as menial labourers. &quot;The MGNREGS is the pivotal scheme to pull these families out of the mire of poverty and deprivation. And therefore identification of these families is must,&quot; he said.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The Government effort to provide employment to women is an attempt to empower the women force. Though the MGNREGS stresses on giving work to women but official records do not justify these claims. The Secretary Rural development admits that barring Bundelkhand and Vindhayanchal the participation of women in NREGS is much less than 33 per cent.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >&quot;Keeping the poor participation record of women in mind the scheme to provide compulsory employment under NREGS to women would be implemented in 26 districts,&quot; he said and added the pradhans would be asked to prepare the job cards. </font></p><p align="justify"><font ></font></p>

                            <p align="justify"><font ></font></p><p align="justify"><font >The state government has prepared a strategy to provide 100-day job to 10 lakh most deprived families under Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in this fiscal.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >&quot;These targeted 10 lakh people would include 5 lakh the most poor families and the rest, 5 lakh, would be women,&quot; Secretary Rural Development Manoj Singh said here on Sunday.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >He said to start with the families would be identified and their data base would be prepared by a nodal agency. After identification of these families on the basis of their Gram Panchayats the Civil Society Organisation would be asked to encourage these families to take part in NREGS.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The Civil Society Organisation is a network of NGOs that carry out social auditing of the NREGS in Uttar Pradesh. The Nodal agency, responsible for selection of women and poor beneficiaries, would comprise Commissioner, Rural Development, Director, Giri Institute of Development Studies, Director, Akhil Bharatiya Samaj Sewa Sansthan, an NGO in Chitrakut and Deputy Commissioner, NREGS Committee.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >Singh said the deprived families are the most illiterate lot and they eke out their living by working as menial labourers. &quot;The MGNREGS is the pivotal scheme to pull these families out of the mire of poverty and deprivation. And therefore identification of these families is must,&quot; he said.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >The Government effort to provide employment to women is an attempt to empower the women force. Though the MGNREGS stresses on giving work to women but official records do not justify these claims. The Secretary Rural development admits that barring Bundelkhand and Vindhayanchal the participation of women in NREGS is much less than 33 per cent.</font></p><p align="justify"><font >&quot;Keeping the poor participation record of women in mind the scheme to provide compulsory employment under NREGS to women would be implemented in 26 districts,&quot; he said and added the pradhans would be asked to prepare the job cards. </font></p><p align="justify"><font ></font></p>

State Government to provide jobs to 10 lakh families

The state government has prepared a strategy to provide 100-day job to 10 lakh most deprived families under Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in this fiscal. "These targeted 10 lakh people would include 5 lakh the most poor families and the rest, 5 lakh, would be women," Secretary Rural Development Manoj Singh said here on Sunday. He said to start with the families would be identified and their data base would be prepared by a nodal agency. After identification of these families on the basis of their Gram Panchayats the Civil Society Organisation would be asked to encourage these families to take part in NREGS. The Civil Society Organisation is a network of NGOs that carry out social auditing of the NREGS in Uttar Pradesh. The Nodal agency, responsible for selection of women and poor beneficiaries, would comprise Commissioner, Rural Development, Director, Giri Institute of Development Studies, Director, Akhil Bharatiya Samaj Sewa Sansthan, an NGO in Chitrakut and Deputy Commissioner, NREGS Committee. Singh said the deprived families are the most illiterate lot and they eke out their living by working as menial labourers. "The MGNREGS is the pivotal scheme to pull these families out of the mire of poverty and deprivation. And therefore identification of these families is must," he said. The Government effort to provide employment to women is an attempt to empower the women force. Though the MGNREGS stresses on giving work to women but official records do not justify these claims. The Secretary Rural development admits that barring Bundelkhand and Vindhayanchal the participation of women in NREGS is much less than 33 per cent. "Keeping the poor participation record of women in mind the scheme to provide compulsory employment under NREGS to women would be implemented in 26 districts," he said and added the pradhans would be asked to prepare the job cards.
